We are looking for a QA Inspector to join our team.
In this role, you will support the QA Managers and EDC representatives as full time eyes on project progress.

Primary
Responsibilities:
Perform Inspections representing the QA Team and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) Client Proactively track and document completed work Research plans, specifications, RFI logs, redlines and Definable Features of Work (DFOW) checklists Contributes to further enhancement of DFOW packets contents (in tablet or e-builder) by providing feedback Maintain Field Book, Inspection Journal, sketches and any other aid to referenced observations Accurately and comprehensively document Contractor daily activities in the Inspector Daily Report (IDR) Actively participate in the 3-Phase Inspections Strive to resolve issues at the field level and determine need to escalate field issues as needed Confirm testing requirements and assure QA and QC test frequencies are being met Review and analyzing testing data - QMS or other data repositories Support Material qualification process - Verify correct materials are used and documented Remain current on Project documents e.

Collect, Input and Manipulate Data information and data into tablet and computer for further analysis Support topographical survey efforts to support QA lines and grades verification High School Diploma or equivalent At least 5 years of experience in construction inspection for earthworks projects is preferred Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record Ability to move up to 50 pounds Ability to read and interpret roadway, structure, and bridge plans and specifications Some knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications Perform calculations using algebra, trigonometry and geometry Preference for flexibility to work night shifts, day shifts, and weekends Work under exposure to inclement weather conditions Promotes and maintains a safe working environment Ideally you'll also have:

Essential Functions:
Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting.
Lifting requirements generally limited to 20 lbs.

Longest distance carried of 50 feet.
Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
Right and/or left hands utilized.
Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same.
No foot controls necessary.
Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
Recommended Skills Algebra Calculations Construction Drawing Geometry Machinery Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
