GENERAL SUMMARY Our housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our hotel.
Tasks will involve cleaning guestrooms, including changing sheets, mopping floors and cleaning restrooms.
The Housekeeper performs skilled and routine maintenance and tasks necessary to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the guest room.
JOB DUTIES Approach all guests and employees with a smile.
Make beds, change linens, clean and sanitize guestrooms and bathrooms.
Vacuum, sweep or mop floors as appropriate.
Restock guest supplies such as soap, shampoo, bottles of water or coffee service.
Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
Clean public areas such as hallways, lobby and public restrooms.
Report any technical or maintenance issues to supervisor.
o Perform other tasks / jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping experience preferred Ability to bend, lift, carry and move up to 30 pounds Ability to work standing or walking for entire shift Work with little or no supervision while maintaining high-levels of cleanliness and efficiency Strong attention to detail Available to work a varied schedule that will include weekends and holidays.
Ability to communicate with guests and team members.
